Almond-Bacon Cheese Crostini 

Ingredients: – 1 French baguette, sliced into ½-inch thick round – 1 cup sliced almond – 8 slices bacon

– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened – ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese – 2 tablespoons chopped chive – Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Place the sliced almonds on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Set aside to cool.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Once cooled, chop the bacon into small pieces.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped chives, and chopped bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.

Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and spread the cream cheese mixture generously over each slice.

1. Sprinkle the toasted almonds evenly over the cream cheese mixture. 2. Return the crostini to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
