Baked Salmon Recipe

Ingredients 1 1/2-2 lbs salmon fillets ▢salt and freshly ground black pepper For Garlic Butter Sauce: ▢3 tablespoons butter , melted ▢3 cloves garlic , minced ▢1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth , or dry white wine ▢2 Tablespoons lemon juice ▢1 teaspoon honey

For Cajun Seasoning: ▢cajun seasoning ▢olive oil For Dill Seasoning: ▢1/2 cup butter melted ▢2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice ▢2 teaspoons lemon zest ▢3 cloves garlic , minced ▢1 tablespoon dried dill weed (or ¼ cup fresh dill, chopped)

Let salmon rest. Let salmon lie on counter for 20–30 minutes to reach room temperature. Paper-towel pat.

Sheet Pan or aluminum foil: Place fillet skin-side down on a sheet pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. 

You can also spray a large piece of aluminum foil with non-stick cooking spray, arrange the fillet skin-side down, and bake on a tray.

Melt butter in a small pot over medium heat for garlic butter. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. 

Combine chicken broth and lemon juice. Continue cooking for 3-5 minutes to reduce sauce. Mix in honey.

Spread olive oil on filet and sprinkle thin, even layer of cajun seasoning on top.

Lift up all four edges of foil and seal to create a bag to lock in liquids while salmon bakes.

Bake salmon at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, depending on thickness. For optimal results, use a thermometer to check doneness.
