Dad's Basic Moist Pork Roast Recipe

Ingredients: 1. 3-4 pounds pork loin roast 2. 2 tablespoons olive oil 3. 3 cloves garlic, minced 4. 1 teaspoon dried thyme 5. 1 teaspoon dried rosemary 6. Salt and pepper to taste 7. 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and take the pork loin roast out of the refrigerator to bring it to room temperature.

In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful seasoning blend.

Place the pork loin roast in a roasting pan or baking dish, then rub it all over with the olive oil.

Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly over the surface of the pork loin roast, patting it gently to adhere.

Pour the chicken or vegetable broth into the bottom of the roasting pan, around the pork loin roast. This will help keep the meat moist during cooking.

Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.

Once the pork roast is cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a juicier and more flavorful roast.
