French Toast Roll-ups

Ingredients 10 slices bread ▢10 fully cooked sausage links ▢3 large eggs ▢1/2 cup milk ▢3 Tablespoons granulated sugar ▢1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract ▢1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour

Hands or a rolling tool may be employed to aerate the bread (optionally, crusts may be removed).

Stretch a sausage link along the bread's front edge before rolling it up securely. Aside; set aside.

Combine the flour, eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a shallow dish or blender until homogeneous.

Bring a skillet or griddle to a medium temperature. Coat thoroughly with butter.

After gently rolling sausage roll-ups in the egg mixture to coat all sides, set them on a hot griddle. 

Cook, rotating gently, for a few minutes, or until golden brown on all sides. Warmly garnish with syrup.
