Christmas Meatballs With Garlic Bread

1 egg beaten 1 tbsp milk 2 puff pastry, thawed ¼ cup pesto 4 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated Red food coloring, as needed

INGREDIENTS

Crack an egg into a small bowl and add some milk. Mix them together well with a fork. 

Take a sheet of puff pastry and use a big Christmas tree cookie cutter to cut out an even number of trees. Save the leftover pastry scraps. 

Put pesto and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on half of the tree shapes. Brush the edges of each tree with the egg mixture, then place another tree shape on top to make a sandwich. 

Put the trees on a big plate and let them sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. 

While waiting, mix the leftover pastry scraps with a few drops of red food coloring. Roll them into small balls if you want to decorate the trees.

Take the trees out of the fridge and brush the tops with the egg mixture. Decorate them with the red pastry balls if you made them. 

Preheat your air fryer to 365°F / 185°C for 10 minutes.
